What is Elbow Pain?

The elbow joint consists of the articulation between three bones; the humerus, radius and ulna. Movement permitted at this particular joint includes: flexion, extension and an element of rotation. Due to the location and the surrounding musculature, often the elbow will play a significant part in activities we perform with our wrist/hand. With this being said, often injuries can arise from tasks that include gripping, holding, typing or other repetitive movements that we perform in our daily lives, exercise routines or sports. Common injuries with this nature that affect the tendons at our elbow include tennis and/or golfers elbow.
